I write my first post from Leicester, the city of the UK where I moved for my PhD in Archaeology.
Leicester is a beautiful city, overflowing with flowers, green lawns and bicycle paths. Enjoys the privilege of being the First City Environment of England and boasts beautiful parks, including the stunning Abbey Park.
Among the most cute and funny peculiarities of Leicester is the presence of myriads of small animals, including squirrels and red foxes, more affectionately known as Urban Foxes, for their constant presence on the streets of the residential streets.
I happened to see two go out the window and down a side street near his home in just a few days, a sign that it is not just an urban legend.
Among the "strange things" I happened to spot a sign saying:! Migratory FROG CROSSING.
Then there is the university area, surrounded by the greenery of Victoria Park and built at the imposing monument erected in memory of the fallen of both wars, with its wonderful avenue of flowers of every kind and color.
For now his reputation as the first city to care for the environment in the UK has reason for being.
await the winter to discover the new face:)
